Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Doby application ("Service") provided by Studio Ji ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

1. "Service": The Doby mobile application and related services provided by us.
2. "User": Any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
3. "Account": A unique identity created through social login (Apple, Google) or anonymous authentication to use the Service.
4. "Content": All information created by users within the Service, including todos and notes.

3. Eligibility

1. The Service is available to individuals aged 13 or older.
2. Users may sign up using social login (Apple, Google) or as a guest (anonymous).
3. Each individual is allowed one account.

4. Services Provided

We provide the following services:

1. Creating, editing, deleting, and managing todos
2. Schedule and calendar management
3. Map-based todo location display
4. Adding friends and sharing todos
5. Creating groups and collaborating
6. Public holiday and personal event management
7. Push notifications
8. Other services we may develop or provide through partnerships

5. Changes to and Interruption of Services

1. We may modify all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons.
2. We will notify users in advance of any significant changes.
3. We may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, force majeure events, or other reasonable circumstances that prevent service delivery.
4. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of any suspension.

6. User Obligations

Users must not:

1. Access or attempt to access another user's account without authorization
2. Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or public order
3. Defame or cause harm to others
4. Create content that is obscene, violent, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate
5. Intentionally interfere with the operation of the Service
6. Copy, distribute, or use information collected through the Service without our prior consent
7. Engage in any other activity that violates applicable laws

7. Content Ownership

1. Users retain ownership of all Content they create within the Service.
2. We may use user Content within the scope necessary to provide the Service.
3. We do not disclose user Content outside the Service.

8. Account Deletion

1. Users may delete their account at any time from within the app.
2. Upon account deletion, all data including profile, todos, groups, friendships, and notifications will be permanently deleted.
3. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
4. Account deletion requires a two-step confirmation process.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

1. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
2. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
3. We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, war, or third-party service provider failures.
4. We are not responsible for service disruptions caused by user negligence.
5. We are not liable for any failure to achieve expected outcomes through the use of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS.

11. Privacy

The handling of user personal information is governed by our separate Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

1. We may update these Terms from time to time.
2. We will notify users of material changes at least 7 days before the effective date through in-app notices or email.
3. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be submitted to the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
